Elodie investigates the interconnections between biodiversity and socioeconomic well-being, with the aim of providing policy recommendations that achieve both developmental and environmental goals. She employs a mixed-methods approach, spanning data science, remote sensing, economics and policy, to effectively tackle the multidisciplinarity of the field. Her core research focuses on exploring the relationship between the sovereign debt crisis and environmental degradation in the Global South, as well as analyzing the impact of forests on socioeconomic well-being.
